I spent the weekend in Albany, NY watching my sister try on dozens of wedding dresses up until she found THE ONE (the very last one she tried on). Although, I guess at that point, it’d make sense for her to stop trying on any more. But seriously, she tried on a lot.
On Sunday, before we headed back home, we stopped at HomeGoods. I can’t say I’ve ever been before but I knew when I stepped in I wouldn’t walk out empty handed. Of course I’d been to Marshalls and TJ Maxx but my obsession with home goods and knick knacks is all too super real.
Anywho, I ended up picking up a couple things and if I wasn’t trying to save for a house, I would have picked up a whole lot more. I guess I’ll just have to make another trip when I finally get one… whenever that day comes.
- A new food container for our pup, Maya.
We’ve been using a regular ‘ol trash can canister since we got her but I wanted something a little different. Since her food dishes hang out in our dining room, a room that people walk through, I couldn’t resist this thing. “CHOW TIME”.
- Kitchen “decor”.
We’ve kept our utensils in a drawer and our oil on the counter in the ugly branded bottle it came in. This set was sold individually but in total equaled about $16. Can’t go wrong with that. The ‘treats’ will be filled with doggy biscuits. I’m on a diet (at least I tell myself yet still dig into the chocolate covered pretzels every day).
- Some Dog Apparel.
Apparently this trip was all about Maya. Here she is without the vest on, but isn’t she the cutest? She’s going to look so precious in her orange little puffer vest. It’s our first Winter with her so you can bet she’ll be bundled up. Might need to get some booties next?
